Handyman near me; it's all about the personal touch

We all need a helping hand now and again, whether that's painting a door jamb, fixing squeaky floorboards or fitting a new bathroom. Some people call on their friends, others attempt it themselves, while the rest of you choose to get a professional in.

When you book me for a project, you will only ever deal with me; I'm a sole trader, no 'team' of experts behind me, no one but me answers the phone, replies to emails, gives quotes or carries out the work - I believe in the personal touch, and that's exactly what you'll get.

Handyman Skills

My father brought me up to be practical. From an early age, I was constantly in amongst his tools, to the point that from my eighth birthday, both my birthday and Christmas presents started becoming more practical; a 'pump' screwdriver, wood plane, chisels ... I suspect in the safety-conscious age of today, it would be frowned upon.

I'm a qualified engineer, time-served plumbing & heating engineer and all-round practical guy; if something needs repairing, I can usually do it.

I believe in good old-fashioned customer service, occasionally with a smile.

Local Handyman

Of course, 'local handyman' is a relative term. I am based in South Wales, but cover all the local areas. I also provide a handyman service in Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, and everything in between - if you have a CV or an SA postcode, there's a chance I'll cover it. â€‹
